Salah satu kader yang ditargetkan para pelaku terorisme tersebut adalah bagaimana sekiranya mereka bisa menggaet para remaja untuk dipengaruhi dan bisa melanjutkan ideologi amoralnya di atas. Seperti kalau kita melihat pada tragedi ledakan bom di JW Marriot dan Hotel Ritz-Carlton 17 Juli 2009 lalu, yang ternyata salah satu pelakunya adalah remaja berusia 18 tahun yang baru saja lulus SMU. Sekarang, bagaimana agar remaja kita tidak terpengaruh dan terjebak oleh ideologi terorisme mereka? Ada beberapa tips agar remaja kita tidak terpengaruh rayuan para teroris. Yaitu, remaja kita harus memperdalam ilmu agamanya, bersikap lebih terbuka, berpikir lebih matang, tidak mudah terpengaruh, dan menemukan jati dirinya. Selain itu, perlu diingat bahwa makna jihad itu lebih luas dari pada sekedar berperang. Ada juga beberapa perbuatan yang bernilai jihad tanpa harus merugikan orang lain sama sekali, yang mana hal itu memang selayaknya dilakukan para remaja, yaitu dengan cara menjadi remaja muslim haus ilmu, berbakti kepada kedua orangtua, bersedekah, dan selalu meningkatkan (kwalitas) dirinya. Beberapa gambaran dan penawaran di atas, terbabat habis dalam buku “Feaceful Jihad for Teens”, yang ditulis oleh Radinal Mukhtar Harahap. Buku dengan tebal 202 halaman ini bisa menjadi jawaban atas semua permasalahan teror yang ada di negeri ini, khususnya teror yang mengancam remaja, agar terorisme tidak mengancam remaja (lagi). Buku ini sangat penting dibaca khususnya oleh para remaja dan para orangtua. Penting dibaca remaja agar tidak kehilangan masa depannya dan bagi para orangtua agar lebih memahami peran penting putra-putrinya di masa depan. Dengan bahasa yang ringan, tanpa harus mengernyitkan dahi—meski tema pembahasannya berat, menegaskan bahwa penulis buku ini sangat lihai dalam meracik dan membaca kebutuhan pembaca. Namun, layaknya tidak ada sesuatu yang sempurna, dalam buku ini saya menemukan dua kelemahan yang keduanya mengarah pada kesan mempertebal halaman. Pertama, dalam buku ini tidak jarang ada kutipan tidak terlalu penting dari sumber tertentu yang banyak memakan halaman. Lihat saja halaman 105-110, yang mana kutipannya sampai memakan 6 halaman. Kedua, 59 halaman terakhir buku ini dipenuhi dengan lampiran fatwa dan undang-undang teroris. Hemat saya hal itu tidak perlu ada pada sebuah buku nonformal, seperti buku ini.
